Bandaging 101

1 to 1 1/2 Hours

One of the biggest concerns horse owners face is their ability to safely wrap a bandage when faced with an emergency, or if their horse requires bandages during layups or training. Equine First Aid Training is now pleased to offer one-on-one instruction to horse owners in the art of bandaging.

Under Theresa's supervision, you'll be given 10 scenarios in which you would have to apply a bandage to a wound on your horse. You'll be guided through the steps to accomplish this safely and effectively and using the materials you would find in your first aid kit.

Additionally, you will learn how to take a full set of vital signs and be given a pocket reference to keep with you.

Bandaging 101 is offered at your barn, using your horse, and at a time that works for you. It only takes about 1 to 1 1/2 hours and costs $60.00.

If you would like to learn this new skill, or just become more comfortable working with bandaging materials, contact Theresa at 604-788-2606.
